💪 Powerful and Reliable: WARN 80010 1000AC Electric Utility Winch - 1,000 lbs. Capacity Review

This is a very good product and workhorse. I raised my 45ft steel radio mast with 60lb antenna and rotor on top, no problem!

Two very large pines pulled out of the lake. Some sort of tensioner is needed to control the entry and exit of the cable. We spent a lot of time rewinding it.

The winch works as advertised. However. Sometimes it gets tangled when rewinding. Some tension on the cable will help avoid this problem. We use a winch to move my disabled husband from a wheelchair to a bed.

I secured this winch to my hangar floor with concrete bolts so my wife and I could attach it to the front wheel hitch and lift up the slight incline from the taxiway to the hangar. It works great, with lots of cables accessible from our 40ft deep hangar, and tows our 1900lb plane with no problem.

We have a 16 foot boat with a heavy engine. We use this to get the boat up the road. We bought it with a portable anchor plate and it works great every time. The only difficulty is that sometimes the line is collected in one place and not distributed evenly across the product. So we have to stop, release the line, fix it and move on. It works great for what we need it for!

I used this on a custom freight lift in my garage. He's been reliable but I don't think he'll move anywhere near £1000. Maybe 500 max if you don't use it for 4 seconds. Otherwise it will overheat and the overload button will work. I understand that the estimate is probably for the pull and not the lift, but there shouldn't be that much of a discrepancy in my opinion. If you use it to lift or pull 200 or 300 pounds on a regular basis, it will work.

Arrived in a beautiful box with the original packaging falling apart. The inner box crumbled to dust when touched. I have never had a Revain purchase in such poor condition and I buy a lot from Revain. The best part is that the product had no instructions and didn't work properly. The product may be of good quality but I would find another seller if they find this acceptable.

This USA-made winch is quiet, solidly built and exudes quality wherever you look. Yes, the mounting holes are in a difficult position, but it's easily overcome. The wire is wound smoothly, the power rating is equal to or better than that declared. It should be emphasized that the cable for the supplied remote control is quite long. very grateful. The packaging of the product is excellent and the instructions are not bad. Pay a little more and get something that will delight you for years…

For the price I think this is a great winch. I bought it to get the Roll-A-Dock out of the lake and up a steep hill. It worked perfectly. My wife operates the winch and I can keep the boat on the dock. I love the fact that the winch hanger has an on and off button. We'll also be using the winch to set up the dock, so the exit button will be very useful. I used to have a 12 volt winch. 120 volts is much more convenient.
