Weaver Leather Round Braided Latigo Review

Beautifully finished and of high quality. The only complaint I have, and it's minor, is a piece of rawhide. I, like many other reviewers, found it useless and ended up cutting it off carefully so as not to damage those beautiful reins.

I like the reins but I hate their white rawhide. It's tight and I can't get it off. I also felt that the price for them was quite high for what they are. That's why I gave it a 3.

Can be dangerous. My 8 year old ran on his horse and when he pulled it back the reins broke and somehow they both broke leaving my son on top and unable to stop the horse. They are beautiful on the outside, but not strong enough! It literally took 2 weeks.

I took off the rawhide, it's very tight and the reins weren't long enough with it, otherwise they're great :) To me they look a Live a little darker than on the canvas which is perfect for me and exactly what I wanted.

Bloody expensive for such a short rein - should be a foot longer. And removing that white plastic plug was a tall order. Please suggest a longer rein without stoppers. I would pay a few euros more for a longer rein and the same amount for a rein without a stopper.
