Works great/snug fit

These blades work great but they fit well so they aren't as smooth as the original Westcott CarboTitanium trimmers. I still give it 4 stars because not only is it comfortable, but it works.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Blade wears out quickly

It's nice when blades are fresh and new, but they wear out quickly. They'll still cut when they get dull, but the cut won't be as sharp and clean. When the blades dull, the paper cut looks like the edge of a book.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Safety

Why are these terrible?

Original trimmers are excellent. They glide smoothly over the track. Are these replacements terrible? Are they difficult to put on and then slide off easily? Forget it! This doesn't happen. It gets stuck and doesn't slide as smoothly as it usually does. Why can't things stay consistent anymore?

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • So far so good

After replacing the very first cut with a new blade, my box was left with torn edges. I tried to cut out a few more sides but I had to go back and cut everything out with scissors. Maybe I just have a few

Be careful when opening this product

It has taken me a while to write this review. I proceeded to open these blades by pulling the cardboard away from the plastic and had to stick my finger in to separate them. As I did so, a blade in one of the housings extended and entered my finger, cutting me from the nail bed to the first knuckle of my index finger. The plastic in the box that is supposed to "protect" you from the blades is very thin and the blade cuts through easily. There were NO warnings on the packaging that the bladesโ€ฆ
