Hard collar is good for dogs

I've had the collar for about 3 weeks now. It seems well done. The clasp looks solid and is made of metal; no plastic. The snap that comes with the Whistle Go Explore (for narrower collars) looks okay (although it's plastic and can break). But the Velcro for wider collars that comes with the Whistle Go Explore doesn't seem strong enough to use. It's supposed to fit wider collars, but as you can see from my uploaded photo, the velcro barely fits over my dog's collar, which is only 1 1/8 inches…

Very good quality collar

Whilst this is certainly not the cheapest collar available it does have the advantage of having a built in mount for Whistle GO and Whistle GO Explore Trackers. I prefer black collars (this is not an option for this product) and bought the 'squirrel grey'. As shown, the collar is mostly slate grey. Overall I have no problem giving this collar 5 stars. It's very well built, using strong nylon webbing, quality stitching, and strong (albeit lightweight) aluminum hardware. Also included is a label…

Reliable collar, suitable for dogs

This review is for the Go Explore and Go Health trackers (we have one each) and the Twist and Go collars. My 3 year old loves to go for walks; She jumped on a rabbit one day when my husband took her to the mountains. We were afraid that she was really lost and we were also afraid that she might run onto the freeway and get hit. That's when we started researching trackers. later my 4 month old puppy came out and we couldn't find her. We bought the Fi first but we were having trouble connecting…

We had a new whistle which we researched and a matching collar for a WEEK and the device fell out of the aluminum attachment point whilst my dog was playing alone outside in the garden. I have just bought a Go-Explore whistle and a brand new whistle collar as I thought it…

Heavy Metal - Simple Collars

After reading countless reviews of dog tracking collars, I chose Fi and Whistle Go Explore. Both seemed relatively comparable in terms of features and performance, and like many products, both had mostly positives and some sharp negatives. So looks mattered: I liked that the Fi looked slimmer and lower than the Whistle. That's why I bought Fi. But this review is about the collars themselves, not the tracker itself. When I received the Fi I was shocked at how heavy it is. My 37-pound beagle is…

Beware of design flaws

I recently bought a Whistle Go Explore. I lost my Whistle 3. I have decided to buy a collar for my new whistle. I read other reviews that said they had a collar and lost their whistle. Others have said it works well. I decided to see it myself. The first thing that struck me when I received the collar was that the collar was metal. He felt strong. I tried on the Whistle Go Explore and it fit perfectly. He felt free in the bracket. He could move. I thought that's why people lost their whistle…
