Spend a little more on Timberline or Amana tools.

This nozzle has a fairly large flat spot on the tip. At least 0.01 inch, it doesn't seem like much until you try to cut something with detail. I keep trying Whiteside beats and I'm disappointed every time. processed flat. inferior quality.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Very clean cuts on my CNC

So far I've used this bit to make a lot of signs, I own a small shop and have found using strong sharp bits makes life a lot easier. This cutter has been used on my CNC for at least 50 medium sized characters and shows no signs of wear. I mostly cut white oak and maple and this little guy always cuts straight lines.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • So far so good

Get this bit good for milling bits

As someone who is still new to CNC, I'm still learning what bits to use in specific situations, but I can say that these are my findings brought to the next level. If, like me, you only use 1/8" or 1/4" end mills because you don't know any better, get one of those. The price is reasonable, the quality is decent, the company is reliable. You will be amazed at how much the quality of your carving will improve.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Best Cookie Cutters

I used a variety of cookie cutters. When I started woodworking, I bought the cheapest ones. Gradually I realized that cheap means more in the long run as they are short lived and the cut quality is not very good. I then tried Whiteside based on a Guys Workshop review on YouTube and once purchased I will not use any bits other than Sommerfeld Tools bits. I used this bit to make some plaques for my previous military unit (picture included) and you can get an idea of how well the router bit held…
