🔧 Wiha 92191 Precision Screwdrivers 51 Piece Master Set with Storage Tray Review

Well, first off, two Beaters won't fit in an inflated suitcase with handles about an inch longer than the bag. What I didn't notice at first was that the markings are inconsistent, 13 have the classic Wiha logo and the words "Made in Germany". The rest have a tiny logo and don't say where they are made, the text appears in a different font. I'm emailing Wiha to see if they can confirm this because they cost ten times more than cheap screwdrivers so I want to confirm I received the original.

I bought this to replace a 10-15 year old Wiha kit that has worn out. And I'm seriously disappointed. The fit and finish of this kit is nowhere near my old one. I have a fake?! Many tool handles have distinct mold stains, quite a few swivel bits do not spin freely and spin on the fingertip rather than the swivel itself. The labels on the pair are illegible and have been smudged during production. The steel may have been good, but even the hardened tips had noticeable flaws. I'm sending it back.

Many reviews point to the imperfect storage tray that comes with the tool. It doesn't hold all the tools securely in place, making transporting the tools awkward. I solved this problem by creating a custom cover. I cut a thin (1/16 inch) sheet of Plexiglas to exactly fit the outline of the tray's rounded rectangle. Important note for new buyers: upon receipt, check the quality of the plastic of each tool, especially the base of the spinning rod (where the index finger would normally be placed). Some of them may not spin freely and may need to be replaced. After extensive shopping and trying out some of Revain's other cheaper (blue) kits, I decided to take the plunge and buy this one.
