Ok but thicker can be ordered in this product

That's good, but not very good. The thickness seems reasonable in terms of measurement, but this material is a little spongy and doesn't hold up the way I wanted it to. I ended up reusing the spline that was already on the old screen. He kept in better shape. The amount it contains is generous and I might end up using it if I had a bottleneck it would do better to fill.

Pros
  • Please measure the old slot or channel in the screen frame and then choose the right size. If you find the spline size doesn't match your frame channel size, you can return it for free.
Cons
  • Security

The Real Deal - Door Hardware & Locks

I replace my screens every year or two and I have a box of tools and supplies for that. This spline appears to be of good quality. Good elasticity, should press into the grooves and stay nice and taut. The only thing I didn't know was that it was the thicker of the two types of wedges I was using. The keyway of some doors is narrower than others, and the thicker size is sometimes difficult to assemble. I think it will work because it's soft enough. Just watch the thickness.

Pros
  • This slot has a long service life and is not easy to age. In addition, it is high-strength and will not break when pulled.
Cons
  • Slightly dented

I assume there is no standard size? New here

The hose on the left in the photo is my old one. Correct is a product. I used it to fix a door screen to fix, and had to go with a slightly larger size. This one fills the gap and holds the screen, but it's weak. I'm not sure if it's a size issue or because it's not as strong as the old one (you can (see in the photo its cavity is much bigger). This is my first screen repair so I can't diagnose the problem but I can. It was easy to work with, it stretched well. Enough for my door .I'm just not…

Pros
  • The wedge is .16" in diameter and the wedge is 100 feet long.
Cons
  • Not everything fits
