WIX Filters 49017 Filter Pack Review

WIX YES! This is perfect for my 2015 Ford Escape 1.6L I4 Turbo. It's a pity that I didn't remember this brand when I first changed the filter. I will always use WIX for my escape.

Ideal for 2014 Ford Focus SE. The appearance is identical to the original filter that came with the new car. It takes a little force to push it in and close the filter box, but it helps keep the filter tightly connected and stationary. Great filter.

Purchased for a 2012 Ford Focus. It fit perfectly with no problems. Studies have shown that this brand occupies a winning position in terms of price / performance / filtration. I am very happy that I chose this filter. I will buy this brand again in the future.

Just installed on a 2017 Ford Escape SE. Please note the normal plastic tab on the filter (which goes into the bottom plastic notch) is NOT on this model . I had to double check to see if I bought the wrong filter or made a mistake in the delivery. It went in fine and easy. No problem.

The title is the most important part. I bought two air filters before saying they fit the 1.5 liter Ecoboost but they didn't fit. I got this one and despite the lack of a lip to route it on the side of the air filter it fits the 1.5L. If you're comfortable with changing the filter yourself this should be an easy task, it's four bolts and you want to make your life easier if you put the hood back on, grab the rear ones first then pull solid all around. So far I haven't had any problems with this

To put this review in context, I have a 2016 Ford Escape with a 2.0 liter turbo. According to the Revain and Wix websites, this filter fits my car. Before purchasing Wix I tried the Fram CA11114 and had to return it as it was too big. As for Wix, I followed what some have said. The fit was tight but not perfect. He was too big. After reading a really interesting article about an in-depth study comparing various paper and oil air filters, I decided to try this Wix paper filter on my 2013 Ford Escape. . My consumption was around 24-25mpg with decent overclocking performance and the OEM filter was in good shape so I wasn't sure if the switch would do anything at all.
