I've been changing the oil for myself and my wife for over 20 years. I've read articles testing and disassembling oil filters. Wix always delivers good results. While they cost a little more than the filters on the shelf at Wal-Mart, engine repairs become very extensive.

We have two hybrids, a 2012 Prius and a 2016 Lexus CT 200h. The motors are identical and use the same size filters. Toyota brand filters with success. However, the quality of these Wix filters is higher, better filter media, better o-rings and the price is comparable to a Toyota product. I will stay with Wix if the Toyota brand price drops significantly.
