Spend your money elsewhere

I'm pretty sure the hub failed after 3 days of driving, the other side is perfectly fine but the side where the brand new hub is has play.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons

Pretty good replacement

Fits perfectly, swapping out both sides easy and took about 40 minutes. They appear to be of regular quality and seem to hold up on the road. Track cannot be verified.

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Good thing you didn't go for a race car

Do not buy. The camps have no cage. They are either NOT SKF or they are fake. It's a good thing they didn't opt for a racing car. It would end in destruction, I have no doubt about that.

Pros
  • Bearings and seals
Cons
  • Very expensive

No grease in the bearings

I took apart this hub to fill it with better grease for use on Miata chains. There is NO lubrication on the inner or outer bearings. There was just enough grease on the inner races to pass a quick inspection. Also, the plastic outer bearing cage had a lot of excess plastic left over from production (welded?) - ready to snap off and get stuck in the bearings.

Pros
  • Bearings
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
