First of all I liked the idea of a rolled up chess set, but what I didn't like was the size and weight of the pieces. The squares were too small, as were the pieces, making it difficult to move the pieces around without moving others. The material was so thin I could rip it apart by pulling, and it brought me back. If I hadn't kept it I definitely wouldn't be giving it away.

It is quite small and the parts are light. Checkers are slightly smaller than pennies and dice are smaller than dimes. You can see in my photos. It rolls up well, if the pieces were a bit larger like nickels or full pennies I would probably give 5 stars. Magnets would also increase my rating. You definitely can't roll dice on the board. It would blow the rocks away for being so light and in such a small space. I ended up returning it and going with the Pendleton Travel Board.

Very soft material. I like that the parts can be easily stowed in the zippered compartment. The board doesn't lay flat because the material is very soft and it curls up on itself, I usually weigh it down on one side as you can see.
