I ordered this because the pictures show it comes with a mount. There is no bracket included with the product, although the instructions describe how to attach the product to the bike. The battery for the village lantern. Revain needs better quality control. :(

VERY EASY TO USE BIKE CABLE AND LOCK COMBINATION. I use it to lock my bike so it doesn't get stolen. It has interchangeable combination of word locks which is convenient and also easy to change. I find it very practical and easy to use. It can be attached to the bike so it is always to hand. I recommend it. I find mine is 5ft and suits my needs well.

I bought this lock to lock when I stop for coffee to look after my bike. Bike theft is rampant in San Diego, so bike locks are a must. This is not the kind of lock that can be installed on an expensive bike and left unattended. But for my needs it works. I gave 4 stars because for my application and attachment to my road bike I would have preferred a more flexible cable as it is a bit heavy. I like simple combinations of words so I don't have to remember another combination of numbers.

The one we received has a button to turn on the combination lock, except the batteries were completely dead and the battery contacts were corroded. Blocking is OK. It only lasts 1-2 years, but for the price it's ok. There is NO customer service. The instructions point to the manufacturer's website (they make a lot of brands), but clicking the word lock link just takes you back to the home page. Nothing more. There is a support email but after waiting 1-2 days the server refuses to accept an email. The word combination on this lock could not be changed from the one supplied. I would return it if my son wasn't in such dire need of a new lock so we left it both locked and unlocked. In addition to the fact that the code/word can be changed. THE LOCK WILL NOT UNLOCK OR CLOSE IN THE COLD. It took about a month, I couldn't figure out how to get this item back in a working lock. Warning there were no instructions for this lock either their quality control was not at the factory or this set of locks was sold to me used. The "word" included in the guide on how to reset the unlock was completely wrong. As it was a gift and I didn't want to return this lock I was trying to figure out what was wrong with the lock. This is a good combination bike lock with a fairly strong locking mechanism and cable. Much larger than the slim 1/4" versions you see at some bike shops for about the same price.
