The measurements I saw seemed to fit but when I got them they were OD not ID as I understood from the description. I had to order new ones with the correct sizes. I don't know if I'll ever need them yet, but I'll keep them just in case. Don't try to send them back.

I recently switched to a large Ridgid vacuum with a 2 1/2" hose and am able to use all the old attachments on the new vacuum. I can also use this attachment to attach the Kreg K4 pocket hole gauge. It fits the nozzles snugly and is very useful. I'm glad I bought it.

This unit works as it should but makes a very loud whistling noise until I put Gorilla tape in the fitting to seal it better. I have a Wen circular saw , which had to have this layer inside as the fork end adapter was too small, but all my other woodworking tools fit perfectly.A little ingenuity and thick tape fixes almost anything.

Actual DIMENSIONS: OD = 2.4380" and ID = 2.2670" (see image). This means that it is not suitable as an insert or overlay for standard DeWalt, Hitachi, Porter Cable or Craftsman dust collectors that I have tried and I'm sure many others. I wouldn't mind the hard plastic as I was planning on leaving them in place, but I didn't mind the misleading sizes listed.

need to add better description of sizes. I want the inside diameter to be 2.5" on the longest side. It is 2.3" in diameter and is not suitable for my application. Here are the measurements I got - I hope this saves someone a little disappointment. Large side outer diameter: 2.45 inch. Large side inner diameter: 2.3 inch. Small side outer diameter: 1.20" (far end) to 1.28" (down to big side). Small side inner diameter: 1.05 inch.

This worked great for what I needed it for. I ordered this to use the various Dyson home appliances I have in my shop Vac. It worked great and sealed both the vacuum cleaner hose and the nozzle well. I tried it on my little dirt tool and it did NOT work, too big for her. But it worked great with Dyson and for the money it's worth I'm thrilled to be able to bring all my Dyson tools into my Shop Vac.

I wanted something to clear PVC pipe from air conditioning and just bought a Craftsman Wet/Vac and didn't know it came with a 2.5" hose is supplied, so it's too big for a 1" hose. (External dimension) PVC pipe, like my old 1 1/4" hose. This mount fits right onto the end of a 2.5" hose and fits perfectly on PVC pipe and also allows me to use other tools that are designed for 1 1/4 hose. I don't know about y'all but the vacuum hose sizes in the store are ridiculous. Rigid, ShopVac, craftsmen and who else is small. Either make them in standard sizes, the same as standard PVC, or at least specify the ID and OD dimensions of the joint in advance.
