Buy once in a lifetime

You get what you pay for. This is the best pair knife. Yes it is expensive but worth every penny. This knife feels like an extension of your hand, but be careful not to cut yourself as this is the sharpest knife available.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Can be harmful

The blade is too fragile.

My wife really liked this paring knife. She hit the counter with the knife and it fell to the tile floor. The blade of the knife broke in two. It broke in half about 1/2 inch from the handle. For the price of 70€ I cannot recommend this knife to anyone. Ken Kramer

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Excellent blade, slippery handle

Quality sharp blade. Caution: The handle is very slippery when your hands are wet. The first time I made two mistakes, once I fell to the ground and the second time I almost cut my hand. Nice knife, but be careful. I do not recommend unreservedly.

Knife IKON SUPER! I received the wrong item from the seller

I love Wüsthof knives! Wüsthof IKON Classic is a beautiful, ergonomic knife, light, comfortable to hold, durable and sharp. Unfortunately, the usual Wüsthof Classic was sent to me instead of the IKON. Very disappointed in the seller.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • I'm worried

A reminder that sometimes expensive things justify their price.

This really is the perfect paring knife, at least for now. Lightweight without being flimsy. Well balanced in hand. My first test of this was peeling some very ripe peaches, and it made things easy without tearing the skin when slicing or digging into the peach's soft flesh. "invisible tool" - you just cut things exactly how you want and never think about how to use the knife - it just becomes an extension of your hand and mind. I hesitated to pay the price but I am very satisfied and will look

Great knife but wrong knife

Wanted a spear point paring knife as shown in the pictures. Upon ordering (direct from Revain) I received a bird's beak style paring knife. (The tip of the spear resembles a typical chef's knife but is smaller, and the bird's beak curves the blade toward the blade.) I decided to keep it for myself as I was planning on ordering one. I placed a second order for the same item hoping it was a mistake. I was sent another blade in the shape of a bird's beak. Revain must have incorrect product…

Amazing paring knife

In my view this is definitely a "high end" knife. I'm sure you could spend more (there's always a more expensive way to peel an apple) but this knife is amazing! It is very sharp and holds the edge very well. It has more weight on the back than many knives (exactly how I prefer it, although your mileage may vary). It complements a quality chef's knife well. I usually reach for this knife when I'm cooking or need to do a bit of chopping. If I don't need a big edge, this is always my first…

  • Brilliantly made

Extremely high quality

Someone stole my Mercer paring knife that was in my cooking school knife set and replacing that knife would cost me more than using Wüsthof so I figured I might as well have a world famous one can choose name since it was the same price. I am very glad I bought this knife, it has a thin blade that glides easily over whatever you are cutting. Use it to peel the rind of a lemon without tearing the rind or getting the pit! The ergonomic handle feels comfortable and easy to hold, no matter which…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Sad packaging
