They work fine until suddenly something happens to my battery and they suddenly won't be damaged by a power surge or something I couldn't find on the circuit board itself, but adjusting the power would suddenly allow too much power to damage the main ICs, control switches and regulators.

Of the 5 boards supplied, two do not connect to the battery but pass on USB. One does not provide power but reads and charges the battery and the other two work on battery and USB but do not charge the battery. I really don't understand the good reviews on this product as mine are all defective in some way.

This is a great product! It charges my 18650 and my old phone at 3.6/3.7v. I made a 18650 charger out of one. Built into the cordless trimmer to replace the original Ni-MH battery and the old mobile phone battery charging circuit. Now the trimmer has more power and stays charged much longer. Works with protected and unprotected lithium-ion batteries.

I used one of the modules to charge two 3.7V Ni-MH batteries, each charging in less than 30 minutes. To do this, I soldered a few wires to the +B and -B outputs. The red indicator lights up to indicate that the battery is charging. The light turns blue (I think) when charging is complete. I measured the voltage of each charged battery and it was around 4.1V. Great product at a great price! I didn't want to review this product until I used it!

I like how compact they are but they are quite picky. I originally bought this to convert a AAA LED flashlight to a single 18650 battery. The first chip I used flickered horribly and the light went out when I bent the board slightly. I chalked it down to my flawless soldering job and used the second circuit board. It worked well, the battery was charged, I use the flashlight regularly. But after some time the flickering started again. As long as I don't touch the flashlight, everything's fine.
