I bought this heat shrink tubing to fit couplers down the middle of my garden hose. The clutch caught it all and put a lot of strain on the hose, not to mention you had to go back and unhook this thing. Strain relief so that the hose does not kink too much at the connection. Whether that solves the hose problem is immaterial, although so far so good. I ordered this product in the hope that after assembling and soldering my wires together I could use a product like this to weatherproof it under the hood. This heat shrink tubing is much more flexible than black heat shrink tubing. I'm buying a black hst (shrink tubing) to cover the wires for routing my control cables in my new handlebars on my bike. I used black 1/2" tubing and when I shrink or shrink it onto the wires it was so stiff that I struggled to get it to twist in the bars.
