Holds up well for hydration

I bought this with a torpedo mount and it works fine. My bottle is easy to put in and take out, but at the same time it doesn't move while driving. I love that it fills the gap between my rods which reduces drag but also reminds me to drink when I look at it.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Doubtful

Good sports bottle cage

I used it on my aero bars on my triathlon bike. Overall this is a well built cage, however do not use long water bottles in it. It's guaranteed to turn up on a bumpy road. Xlab mentions using a chimp cage for rough roads, but you can get away with that too if you use the right water bottle.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not bad

Almost every triathlete has had to roll a bottle out of the holder onto the race track at some point, it really sucks! Your hydration and fuel are now in question. I use this cage best in the "torpedo" position (between the arms) and it works great. It's carbon fiber so it's very light. It holds the bottles tight but I will say it holds some bottles better than others but all the bottles are pretty tight. As an XLAB product it's very well made but tends to be expensive so shop around and grab a
