Instead of rivets and bolts with nuts, 14 stainless screws! One of the reasons I bought this was screws and rivets, I checked the Yak Gear website and now they come with screws. Come for Revain update info when mfg make changes.

Super quality. Use this kit to add a bungee and refresh a 20 year old plastic kayak. Now it's great for transporting lunch and photo gear. This kit had everything I needed plus a few spares.

Hardware not shown. Does not come with rivets. The only parts in the package are stainless steel screws and rings, no bolts or nuts as shown. They expect to screw the screws into the case and cover the screw locations with rubber caps and use pliers to clamp the bungee.

Adds style and functionality to your kayak. I couldn't figure out why it comes with nuts and bolts in the first place. A full set of rivets would have been much better. I had to find some rivets because I couldn't reach the front of the kayak from the inside to use the bolts/nuts.

I bought this deck set because of the plastic J hooks I needed. The kit uses a pointed self-tapping screw. This can be quite dangerous for equipment or skin. I had to grind the tips with a dremel to avoid snagging the mechanism or parts of the body. Another thing is that poor selection of included hardware is great kit.

Easy to install deck mount. This kit contains everything you need for 2-3 different configurations depending on the size of your kayak. I used a traditional X pattern with spares. There are two installation options - a standard bolt and hex nut, which works if you can get to the inside of the kayak where the installation takes place, and a rivet system if you can't.
