Does what I need

Some people have complained that the device doesn't come with instructions. To be honest I just searched YouTube for a 10 ounce curler and found some videos explaining how to use this machine. Concerns about scratches on the surface are justified. I happened to be using this on my desktop which isn't supposed to be pretty anyway so I don't mind it but make sure you put a bumper between the screw and your table or it will leave a circle or scratch. Otherwise it was the best price I could find…

Possibility to prepare cakes in large sizes! A bit noisy but I still like it

I love this product. I have a ton of yarn to support my crochet hobby and it helps turn all the yarn I have into pretty ball cakes which now help store them MUCH easier (now I have room for more LOL). And I didn't have to cut ANY of them to continue, I was actually able to tie a few together to make one big one instead of two! Which was my biggest concern! My ONLY complaint would be; it's quite noisy. I can only do this when everyone is awake, otherwise they will wake everyone up. But other…

Should have bought these the first time.

A few years ago I bought a small yarn winder to see how it would help me manage my yarn. I've found yarn cakes to be easier to store and use. Over time, the plastic parts wore out and it became increasingly difficult to get cakes clean and tangle-free. I saw this weather vane on sale so I ordered it. Great solution, I'm excited.
