Perfect motion detector

I bought the YoLink water detector and bridge a while ago and was impressed with their range and the fact that they work great - no crashes, the bridge is always online (connected to ethernet, no use WiFi), instant notifications/alerts. So I decided to try one of their motion detectors on my porch to keep me informed of Covid-related package and grocery deliveries. Definitely not getting 1/4 mile range out of them.

I was impressed by how easy these sensors were to install in a YoLink system, but the range was very disappointing. The excitement subsided after I put it in my mailbox, which is exactly 163 feet (feet) from the front door. I can see the mailbox through the front door, there are no obstacles between it and the house. After each night I noticed the sensor was disconnected and assumed it was draining the batteries, but as soon as I brought it back indoors it reconnected. I've tried it at…

I'm completely blind! I got the motion sensor online but it wasn't easy for me. The sensor is round. The sensor has 2 magnets installed on the back. The battery is located on the back of the sensor. For me I want to scan the QR code with my phone; Application. told me to press a button to connect the sensor to the hub. It wasn't easy for me. I didn't feel the button and it took me 5-10 minutes to find the button. The reason is that the button on the back of the sensor is flat and very small…

We tested different devices for several weeks. I have to say that we are very satisfied. The first thing that struck us upon unboxing is that everything seems to be designed and made with attention to detail and care. It was a little unexpected for us. You often get cheap packaging and apps that look like they were made in a day. In this case it is not. We had to double check if it is a start-up company. From all outward signs, it appears to be an established company that has been in business…
