Technical veracity compared to Brita. After years of use, Brita only recently investigated the true PPM values. Great certainty to have a "real" filter for variety.

I think the top cap is missing a part that allows me to put it on properly to fill the water tank. This last purchase was my third Zero Water jug and I've had no issues with the others.

I just unpacked this product and couldn't find the free water meter advertised. Hm. A free water meter is mentioned in the product description. and none were included. So I contacted ZeroWater support and they sent me the missing gauge. ZeroWater Rules!

I found what looks like a blue button in my dog's mouth. I quickly removed the large button from the dog's mouth and realized it was a spout. It was created when it wasn't being used. Thank god I was in the kitchen when it happened. He is a small dog. I also found a feather on the floor. I thought what if this happened to a toddler? Very cheaply made. I loved zero water. I hope they are working on a solution to this problem.

Very bad taste and smell which I recognized but couldn't identify at first then it dawned on me, wet fiberglass insulation after reading reviews of filter changes I found several other owners complaining of a fishy or other unpleasant odor. There was a lot of orange particles on the bottom after emptying the jar, this was after 2 months of filling once a day. Very disappointed, no purchase recommendation.

The filter is great. The jug design is probably the worst jug design I have ever used in the last 40 years. Everyone from the person who designed it to the people who signed it should be removed from the design of the product unless they made that parody based on a written protest. It's not bad, it's not terrible, it's a monumental career ruining one pitcher's failure. It makes a bad Norman door look awesome. However, the design of the filter itself is stunning and premium.

I didn't know how well this worked until I started tasting the water (IMHO, water isn't supposed to taste good). After a few days, the taste made me choke. That's when I decided to test both pre-filtered water and filtered water from a filter that I suspected would need to be replaced after just a month.
