This lamp lasted 2 minutes, an improvement over the previous lamp which lasted 30 seconds. I use it with the lamp of the same brand it is intended with. Don't waste money. We will send the lamp back tomorrow.

Temperamental. I've burned too many of these things over the winter. I find that the filament is too weak at high temperature. What finally got them working was a reasonable amount of time to connect to a smart plug. You no longer have to move the device to turn it off.

I bought two of these lamps and was disappointed by the price and short lifespan. Each bulb was placed in a fixture of the same brand as the bulbs, and each was connected to a Revain smart socket (which I like) that controlled how long each bulb was on. Both bulbs were on for six hours a day for the reptiles, and both bulbs only lasted a week. I find it very disheartening that a product like this has such a short lifespan.
