ZOSI Surveillance Security Capability Detection Review

Zosi Smart Client for iOS lags like crazy on a 400Mb internet connection, forget about real-time. Opening the app has a 3 second delay so you can enjoy its "advertisements". Any configuration you make in the app, such as B. "clear" instead of "loose" is lost when you reopen the app. The macOS client does not work at all and does not have the ability to access the DVR through the web page. Do yourself a favor and skip this mark.

Our 5 year old Speco DVR has gotten a little dusty. We order this and use our old hard drive. This unit is significantly smaller than our old Speco DVR, the fan is much quieter. No setup required, connect your cameras and you're done. The Android remote viewing app is easy to set up and doesn't require port forwarding like our old device. The user interface of the zosi app is simple and easy to use. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a budget DVR

After installing the hard disk, the system works! When I removed the hard drive everything worked. After careful inspection, it was found that the DVR has additional holes that are raised in addition to the holes for mounting the hard drive. The protruding holes shorted out to the hard drive's motherboard and burned it, I had to buy another hard drive and tape the holes to prevent the hard drive from shorting out again. This DVR is CRACK. I had an 8 camera Floureon DVR that failed after 4 years. That's why I bought this DVR because Flueon was sold out forever. I connected my existing cameras (one is a 1080p PTZ camera) to this DVR and the quality was terrible. I work from home and am used to watching these cameras out of the corner of my eye 5-6 hours a day. It's like a million other little devices. Was a bit annoyed that it's a 4 channel screen which appears to come with 8 channel display software but at least it hasn't failed in the weeks we've had from four screens to eight. This is our third zosi DVR, we bought 2 and replaced one with zosi. Each doesn't last more than a year before plugging in a powered hard drive fails to read the hard drive. The product works well as a DVR, but I've only had it for a few days. S/W is complex and full of bugs. The first hurdle for S/W was getting a working email. Eventually I stumbled upon the Gmail account working and allowing me to log in. After logging in, the software disappeared from my screen and only remained in the taskbar.
