Best cheap quality in fuel pressure tester

Super cheap quality of tool materials. I would say a hard case is more valuable than a tool. The only sign I saw was in Chinese. Except I think I saw "Tools" somewhere, so that's a plus. The metal feels very soft and light, VERY cheap o-rings (I can see they fail quickly). I'm already looking for a replacement.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Was damaged

ARRIVED DEFECTIVE - Diagnostic, Test & Gauge Tools

Plugged into a carburetor gauge and it didn't register. I have used multiple vacuum lines and nothing. I then went to the local dealership and bought a more expensive sensor that worked perfectly. I am not sure if this was the only faulty product but I was not happy with my purchase.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Big dial and lots of adapters

I'm not a mechanic but I fixed a small engine problem on my golf cart. This tester kit has confirmed that my fuel pump is working, so I need to fix some other issues. I really like the large dial which is easy to read with my old eyes. Many adapters included. It's not that hard to figure out how to use this tester. Very happy with the purchase.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Negative gift

Easy to read large dial

We bought a 1968 Mustang and needed a vacuum gauge to set the idle air/fuel ratio. I ordered an ABN kit and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the entire kit. It includes a variety of adapters for almost any vacuum port and comes in a sturdy case that's easy to find on your desk as it's brightly colored. It arrived safely and on time and was packaged very well.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Nothing here

Vacuum pump works quickly and easily

I tested the vacuum on my car distributor without any problems. With this pump you can easily adjust your progress to the vacuum in the carburetor. The pointer was against the minimum stop, so I can only assume that the counter is calibrated. However, the vacuum levels I observed were about what I expected, so I don't think the calibration will be too far off. There is an unmentioned vacuum reset button on the underside of the gauge that easily returns you to a zero vacuum reading. I didn't use

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Slightly cracked

Good product broken case

This will be a 5* rating. how. But one of the plastic clips it's attached to is already broken and bent, now I don't blame the sender entirely as it was wrapped in plastic wrap, but it's still a bit limp, the case is already broken and there is it a vacuum cleaner I really don't want a lot of dust and stuff flying around so I have to pack things up. Or boxed, I don't have the luxury of working in a shop.

Pros
  • hands free
Cons
  • replacement availability

Don't waste your time with this!

I ordered this set thinking it was just what I was looking for. When it arrived it turned out that it wasn't properly calibrated. (The needle showed 3 pounds of vacuum and was not connected to anything.) After contacting the manufacturer I was told that there was no way to recalibrate it and that it was being treated as defective and over Revain should be returned. Revain immediately sent me a second one and it arrived the same way. The arrow doesn't zero straight out of the box and never…

Suitable for VW Diesel - does what it promises!

Ordered this to check fuel pressure on my VW Jetta Diesel. I had to buy a larger hose fitting as the Jetta fuel line hose fitting on the fuel filter was larger than any of the adapters that came with it. It's ok as the price for it was already lower than everything else. The Jetta specs said the fuel filter should be 10psi and it registered just under the 10psi mark so I'm happy with the purchase! Just for a smile, I hooked it up to an AC system vacuum pump and it registered 30 inches of…

How to reset a vacuum gauge ABN

Many reviews have mentioned that the resulting gauge will not read zero. The product manual says the gauge can be adjusted by removing the cap, but doesn't explain how. I received mine today and in fact the sensor wasn't at zero. After careful inspection, I was able to remove the cover and zero the sensor. Then I compared the pressure at 15 with a manometer. Both show almost 15 inches. close enough for me First remove the rubber cover from the back of the sensor. It fits well but will come…
