The Aqueon Pro Brand Lasts Longer Than Any Other Brand Of Heater

Over the decades with many aquariums I have tried many brands of heaters and every time the heater kept failing I have this brand with an "X" next to it. This list of failed heater brands is long, with only one brand ever failing: Aqueon Pro. They're more expensive, but they're the best. You pay a lot when you buy an Aqueon heater, so pay a little more when you buy to get the Aqueon Pro. The Aqueon Pro is more durable because it has an aluminum tube instead of the Aqueon Non-Pro glass tube…

Best Heater I've Ever Owned

I can't tell you how much better this heater is than any other heater I've had, including my most recent (Marineland ML90650 Precision Heater for Aquarium, 100 - Watt). At Marineland, I had to keep adjusting it due to slight changes in room temperature, while this heater I installed is pretty much within +/- 0.3 degrees Fahrenheit based on the three temperature sensors in my aquarium. including "La Crosse Technology 926". -25106-Wgb Wet sensor wireless monitoring system that logs readings every

The Aqueon Pro heater is a dangerous product and should be recalled

Four years after using this product under normal conditions, the Aqueon 100W Pro heater failed catastrophically. My wife and I were sitting in the living room when we heard a loud hiss coming from the aquarium. Almost immediately, smoke poured out of the furnace and filled our entire house. Luckily we were nearby and were able to turn off the heath quickly. If we hadn't been home or gone to bed an hour later, it could have been a lot worse. I'm afraid this heater could have started a fire. This

Great Product - Aquarium Heater & Cooler

I received this heater in December when our 65 gallon turtle tank was getting cold. That works great! We have a 100 watt version (we fill the tank about half full for about 30 gallons). The tank took some time to heat up, but it reached and maintained a comfortable temperature of 72 degrees. We confirmed this using a heat gun and our external tank thermometer. You don't have to stick to 72 either; The heater allows you to set it to a wide range of temperatures. Just set and forget. The only…

UPDATE: Cracked heater body, stopped working

I bought two of these heaters and they both stopped working almost at the same time. The outer plastic casing on the bottom of the heater shattered, allowing water to enter the heater. Many other people have reported the exact same issue with this heater. I contacted Aqueon about the warranty and they sent me new ones. One was an older model and the other was a newer model with LED lighting on the adjustment knob instead of the tube. market today. It's made of aluminum rather than glass, so you
