I have these for drilling holes in some of my small pots. I used the largest side and couldn't even make two holes in the planter before the bits stopped working. I will never buy these again.

I have a Dremel 3000 and the drill does not fit in the head. I would have to buy a new prize for my dremel so it would hold on to the tiny drill shaft. I stick a fork in a strong drill and can't go through quartz so it can't be a diamond drill. So basically useless for me.

Drilled shells for my artistic fiancé. Used two different sizes and drilled dozens of cases. Outstanding durability. I walk light on my feet, keep them cool with some water. (Using the Dremel mot tool). As long as there is no broken chisel or shell. up to the first bit of each size.

I have drilled several pieces of stone (5 or 6) of different hardness, mostly agate for jewelry. I understand that most users of this product will be using a Dremel type device. I used it in a drill press with pieces of stone dipped in water. So far I have only used the largest bit and it has worked very well. Slow, constant up and down pressure kept the intake and exhaust ports clean. The beat still seemed sharp enough to do quite a bit more. Will try to post some pics and update the life bit…

Excellent bits for polished formations. Use lots of water and slow pressure and they work well. 1mm requires an additional small bit chuck. Unfortunately the two I tried from Revain (CML Supply and Temo) are almost impossible to align, the bit wobbles and breaks.)

I bought this kit to drill holes in some coral, sea glass and small shells for jewelry making. I cover the bowl with water to keep the parts cool and find this works very well. These bits make a nice clean hole and last about a dozen rounds before dulling, making them a great deal for the price. It may be a while before I'm done with this set, but I will definitely buy them again. Featured!

Works great! For smaller bits you need a smaller collet. Use slow speed and very little pressure. The bit should go fairly deep into the cartridge, this increases stability. Make sure the surface under your drill bit is soft like wood to protect your drill bit. Diamond crowns cut abrasively and generate a lot of heat, and they wear out when too much heat melts the metal and the diamonds fall off. Drill with water to keep the bits cool.
