Biqu Equipment Filament Spool Holder Filament Review

This works well and I really like that these are methods that another manufacturer would use, as awful as a 3D printed spindle and laser cut plates(?). Perfect for my 1kg spools, but I had to use the marker as a spindle for my smaller spool, which isn't a big deal. It's a bit tricky to keep the acrylic protective sticker in place as well as the little nuts, but you only do it once.

This holder fits the tronxy X1 printer very well. The real one is very well automatically centered with the spindle attached. The only technical advice I would give holder users is to add a weight to the base when your reel is empty. Anything goes, like a little flash or a pair of pliers. The reason is that your base can tip over if the coil catches fire. This is not a design flaw as every stand is.

I received this product and the first thing that struck me was the lack of screws to mount it. Luckily I have a large selection of screws. After building it, I put it to work and it worked fine for a few days. It broke when a half-empty can of hairspray fell about 12 inches onto the spool he was holding. If you look at the pictures you can see the big letters that are cut out, they are cut off right where the brand letters were. This is a poor design as the letters take up most of the support…
