    LIKED THE 1 INCH COLLAR COLOR WAS NICE PINK , MED. BOUGHT ON JULY 22 2021 FOR A 11 MTH. OLD LABRADOODLE, BY THE 5TH OF AUG. SHE CHEWED THROUGH THE COLLAR HAD TO TRASH IT.     When I ordered these collars, I didn't realize they were choke collars. My dog has a very sensitive neck and he breaks out with a rash from wearing most collars. Part of his problem is that he pulls so hard on his walking leash that I have to be extra careful with what I have him wear.     I bought this for my dogs and I’ve had them for a few months and they are great. I like how they have padding and a few colors to choose from. They are high quality material. I highly recommend.

    Not for big dogs - my new review

    I’m sure this collar is fine to small dogs, but the second time i took my 65lb shepherd X out for a walk he lunged at a rabbit and the collar broke. Do not recommend.

    I've used the collar several times a day since recieving it 1/27 (less than 2 months ago) to take my 30lb 6 month old puppy out to go potty and few times on walks. She is a puppy so there is some pulling but she is not that heavy or strong and we don't let her pull too much so she doesn't damage her windpipe.     This collar is really well made and I like that it's padded so it's not as rough on my puppy's neck. I have a giant breed pup that's going on 8 months and still have issues walking him he's always pulling. I had a collar similar to this but it wasn't made as well and it ended up falling apart.     I have 5 dogs and I had not previously used a martingale collar so I thought I would try this one. Several on my dogs pull when walking. This collar is easy to size, very sturdy, and very durable. It is made well and it has helped me make a little progress with the dogs who pull me. Happy with this product.

    Great collar for a greyhound!

    I'm not sure why, but I've been told that martingale collars are the best for greyhounds. But they aren't easy to find. So when I saw this one, I jumped at the chance to get it. I like that it's a sturdy, quality nylon collar and that it came in a bright pink color. I also like that it adjusts easily so it should work perfectly for my greyhound.Minus one star because it is a bit thin. The fabric versions I order for her are quite a bit wider, which I prefer.

    The Fabric Martingale Collar Annoyed My Dog

    The piece that tightens when the dog pulls hangs and flops around when OFF leash drove my dog crazy. My Golden Retriever is the calmest dog I've ever had, and when I watched her playing (off leash) and the hanging loop flopping up and down hitting her in the face, I had to throw it away.She has a Martingale collar with a chain loop, not a fabric loop, which has never been a problem for her.     Excellent - thick and sturdy - a little big for our smallest pug, fine for our "biggie " one

    This is an excellent collar system that is easy to put on your pup and minimizes the strain and choking effect. We have two pugs; the small size collar is really a bit too big for our smallest, but fits our bigger one perfectly. The construction is sturdy and thick; overall I love it, 5 stars!

    This collar is padded, which I thought would make it more comfortable. Unfortunately, it’s also stiff and the loop (the feature that makes it a martingale) doesn’t relax so there’s the danger of your pet getting their leg or foot stuck during playtime or when scratching. BEWARE: Other reviews mentioned how the metal ring isn’t soldered together and could pull apart when walking a strong dog that pulls. NOT COOL

    We were excited to get these for our labs. They looked great out of the package and were easy to size & put on. We were very disappointed after the colors faded after a week. We have dark dogs and needed the high visibility colors. ALSO, our dogs broke these collars within 2 weeks of use.     A Gentler Training Collar

    This is a decent alternative to a metal training collar. I recently adopted a 12 year old Border Collie mix who was never to taught to heel properly. Although she does't pull really hard at the end of the leash, I want her to walk a little better.
