Full CONVERSION for this product!

I was concerned by some of the negative reviews on here BUT. I got it anyway, Y. This stuff seems GREAT. So here's the crazy method: I used it on an old farm undercarriage that had been sitting in the weeds for centuries. Remove cancerous rust. Do not grind on bare metal. Just a steel brush to remove limescale. This product converts all hard surface rust to hard black enamel in minutes to hours. It goes away easily, like milk. Apply it with a brush. Cover evenly. DO NOT put leftover productโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Quality workmanship

  • No instructions

Follow these tips for Corroseal and convert rust successfully

Solid rust converter. Similar to other converters but water based and cheaper. This is my personal favorite and I've literally tried them all in over twenty years. Rather than cover the territory that other reviewers have shared, let me just provide a few tips on using Corroseal effectively. Tip one: use a needle scaler. Many of the "failed" photos here show that this important step was skipped. Just a needle scaler (or jackhammer if you have the patience) will remove the layered rust. A wireโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Excellent coverage, impressive results

I really like this product. We had excellent coverage results. From a gallon we covered the entire Airstream chassis twice and we were left with a liter. Make sure you paint it with exterior paint if it's going to be exposed to a lot of weather and humidity. I understand that an oil or urethane based paint is recommended. Based on my experience, I would recommend automotive paint for painting cars, trailers, outdoor equipment, etc. It dries quickly and can be painted over during or afterโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Expensive

Cargo Trailer Restoration with Corroseal!

I have a 15 year old cargo trailer that's been sitting outside in South Central Florida in bad weather. Needless to say, it's pretty rusty. Actually I wanted to give it away and buy a new one. Then I came across this product and decided to give it a try. Also, I decided to do it in July and August when we have the rainy season and very hot and humid conditions. So I placed the trailer on blocks so I could get under it. Then I high pressure cleaned it. I also did some sanding with a wire brushโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Quality

New "transformed " Corroseal fan!

I recently discovered Corroseal while researching rust removers on Revain. Although I had never heard of this product before and found it a bit pricey, I decided to give it a try based on the reviews. Boy am I glad I did! My subject is a recently purchased 1999 F250 pickup truck. The truck was originally from Michigan, so I knew in advance there would be problems with rust. The first thing to do was to process the inner and outer parts of the doors. Applied with 2 inch bristles and within 30โ€ฆ
