Best buy for PSU

I bit the bullet and ordered the CS750M because of the warranty and the 80 Gold certification. Installation was fairly easy, although this was the first time it was difficult to place all the wires. Though I felt like it was easy to do once I was done. Very quiet. And that sets a good setup in motion. Inside the computer 12GB of RAM and 4 hard drives, one of which is an SSD. Plus other usual accessories. I had no trouble connecting the cable to the SSD as it can be placed anywhere in the box…

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Frequency

Works great with one caveat.

Required to support my latest graphics card. Have only heard good things and it was worth installing everything and making sure it works. But one problem was that my computer would start humming loudly when idle on the desktop with nothing running. I found a little-known resource on the internet that details how to change a registry key so that it doesn't contain this "empty" buzz. It was damn loud. After that perfect! No problem.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • is embarrassing

Nice design but for the price it should be a lot more reliable

Very nice modular design. But I had to buy it to replace the same model that broke down less than two years later (still under warranty but it's no use to you if you need it right away). I feel like a PSU that costs that much and is made by such a reputable company should last MUCH longer. I have cheap computer power supplies that have been in constant use for over eight years without any problems. Corsair, what's your excuse? Good. After replacing it under warranty, I have a spare for the next

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Some flaws

You've gotta love the full size components - they fitted my Dell

Replace it with a Dell Inspiron i3847-5078BK. The cables were longer than they should have been, but the device fitted perfectly. I'll admit I was confused by the 12v motherboard cable, but a quick look at the extended user guide on their website revealed that the 8-pin connector splits into two 4-pin connectors, and one of them was what this computer needed.

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists

Corsair still have great products and I would recommend this PSU

When I received this PSU it was initially dead on arrival and I had to send it back to Corsair for a replacement. The downside is that it cost me about $30 to ship it back from the east coast to the west coast (I think I sent it back in the mail). The exchange worked as it should. Corsair still has great products and I would recommend this power supply.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Powerful, stable and durable - worth the price.

I've been a longtime fan of Corsair - I've been using their desktop RAM for more than ten years and they've never let me down. I'm happy to see that they offer the same level of reliability and functionality for their other products. I finally had to upgrade my PSU this year, and while it's a little overkill for my setup, the modular design and high quality definitely justify the price. There are cheaper power supplies out there, and there are certainly parts of your computer that you can…

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • No performance

Best for the price!

I'm not a fan but Corsair is one of the best brands and value for money when buying a power supply. My first Corsair PSU was a CS650 which failed after a month. I checked my system again and found that 650W is barely enough for my system as my factory overclocked GTX980 draws more power than the specs advertised by nVidia. I explained the situation to Corsair and was surprised they didn't take advantage of the fact that I bought the wrong unit for my system and overloaded the PSU against me. I…

Corsair - Poor customer service

I bought this PSU because it has a 3 year warranty. The power supply was built into the PC and connected to the UPS. The PSU failed and when I contacted Corsair they denied the warranty and said to read the fine print on the warranty papers. The warranty only applies when purchased from an "authorized" reseller. BLINIQ does not appear to be an authorized reseller. When I contacted BLINQ they told me this was not their problem and if the manufacturer didn't do anything for me then I would have…

Pros
  • Looking good
Cons
  • New competition emerged

I heard a rude ZAP and an urgent beep from another room. I found my server is down and the UPS is panicking. Troubleshooting revealed that this power supply shorted out the SATA power rail and destroyed the controllers on my 6TB data drive, its mirror and another backup drive, and disabled the Blu-ray drive. I informed Corsair that their failed hard drive destroyed 2.4TB of my data AND their backups. They said they would reimburse for the hard drives but not for the data recovery ($1400 out of…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Waiting too long

Great for my mini tower

I wanted to upgrade the graphics card on my Dell Inspiron 3847 but first I needed to upgrade the PSU. I've always heard that you can't go wrong with Corsair, so I get it. It was easy to install, had all the cables I needed and works like a charm. Can't recommend enough.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Weight
