Orthosis handmade from nerve damage.

I bought this leather strap to make my own wrist rest. I have a nerve injury and I am in severe pain. My physical therapist made a plastic corset. I had these couple of years and had to replace them due to breakage. I thought it was getting old. I've looked at medical corsets and made my own out of leather, which work just as well or better.

  • Looking forward to it

  • Not the best

Nice and comfortable

Nice leather, fluffy in places but overall I would buy it again and probably will. By the way, some people complain and say that the skin is artificial, and that's a complete lie. This is, as the name suggests, Latigo leather. Just because it's not a vegetable tan and can't be polished, machined, or wet sculpted doesn't mean it's fake. Saying it's a fake shows you're inexperienced in the leather business.

  • Cord is shorter than others

Genuine leather works best for crafting

I received the item in good time and opened it to see a perfect looking piece of black leather. It looked almost too perfect where I was wondering if it was faux leather, especially after going back and seeing a few other reviews. I was sure it was fake and almost sent it back. I cut a piece off one end and did a burn test instead. I held it up to the fire for a few minutes and it charred a bit and the smoke smelled like burnt hair, just like it should. It didn't melt like faux leather. It's…

Passes the burn test. This is NOT PVC or PU leather.

I don't quite understand the other reviews. Maybe there's a fake comment war between leather sellers or something, but the test that counts is that it's real leather. Yes, it's very smooth and even on one side, but it doesn't melt or burn like plastic-based faux leather (I don't know of any other types of faux leather that don't ignite), and it absorbs water on the rough side. try it yourself I promise you won't get hurt. I use it for belts and other things with straps and it works well. I…

PVC Leather: Leather Strips, Shapes & Trims

I would kindly accept an apology with a replacement rather than a refund with a negative comment for receiving the PVC leather from the owner accept. I know what real leather feels and smells like, but it's not. To suggest that I don't know what leather is and don't appreciate what I got was discouraging. I'm sure mistakes happen, but it would be nice if you could just admit it instead of making the customer feel guilty. Or better yet, say nothing at all. I wanted to make cute collars for the…
