Ease of Use in Power Tools and Hand Tools

I used this on my 5.0 liter .030 drill, so it definitely worked on my 4.030 inch pistons. It opens up a little more, so I suspect larger openings, up to at least 5 inches, should work well.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Crumpled

All in all the best hand tools

Not sure about the suction power I think they want me to say they suck or something, the ring compressor is a bit short but I have this one tools before and they make assembly easier

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some flaws

Great tool, be careful.

The tool is very simple but you have to watch out for the rings as you squeeze the rings they move with the tool. If you adjust the ring's position to 120 degrees, they shift.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Old model

Really good tools for $

Product works as intended. The ring expanders never slipped off when the ring was installed, and the supercharger seems sturdy enough that you can comfortably use it on the delicate engine you're building.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Available in white only

Suitable for light loads

This is a cheap method and much better than manual compression. The pliers worked perfectly. The annular compressor required extra effort to keep all sides flush with the block when the oil scraper rings went in. I used it when restoring a Nissan QR25.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Limited use, not bad. got a job. Pliers can have been used for a lifetime. One thing, maybe just me, but be careful not to put too much hand pressure on the compressor. The metal is very thin and looks like a razor blade. I slipped once and cut my finger pretty badly. Latex gloves don't help.

Pros
  • Piston Ring Pliers for installing and removing piston rings, 3/64" to 1/4" thick (1.2mm to 6.4mm)
Cons
  • Out of fashion
