Very Shallow Best-in-Hand Tools

Beware, they're not deep at all! Received a set and they are small. My shallow set is deeper than this deep socket set. waste of money

Pros
  • Best-in-Niche
Cons
  • Useless Features

8mm Cracks: Socket & Socket Sets

The Love wrench has a ton of these products but in the first week I had an 8mm deep head crack with ease whilst everyone else withstood the only one the chrome was chips

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Negative Wrench Available

The gear wrench makes sticky tools.

The gear wrench is a good tool. I've always been a craftsman, but their quality has diminished. So I started buying other brands. I use mine almost every day at work and have no complaints.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Good sockets for power and hand tools

GearWrench makes quality, affordable tools and they're no exception. This is a good set and comes with a good track. I have had no issues with them and would definitely purchase other GearWrench outlets without hesitation.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • So so

Strong and durable tools

These heads are of high quality and built to last. When I received them, one of the outlets had a trimming issue (some of the GEARWRENCH letters were smudged). I called the warranty phone number and they will send me a new one. Thanks GEARWRENCH.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Functionality

Excellent second tier/additional

First impression 1) Good weight and finish 2) Gear Wrench is a good brand I have a couple of professional ratchet wrenches 3) I think laser engraving would be good although I have engraved4 ) is a bit embarrassing that the flanks are only 1/4 to 1/3 of the nest depth, but I don't mind having chrome and steel there. so i think i move on in the world

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not stylish

Love Gearwrench good for sockets and socket sets

As good as any on the market and better than most. Like a master technician for forty backs. I can't say Gearwrench is better than Snap-on. feels exactly the same and works within small tolerances. The heads even have a nice little knurling at the base for gripping. I love all Gearwrench products.

Pros
  • Depth of cut same as fastener
Cons
  • Expensive

Excellent second stage / supplement

First impressions 1) Good weight and finish 2) Gear wrench is a good brand. own engraving 4) a bit messed up, the flanks are only 1/4 to a third of the nest depth, but I don't think it's a bad thing to have chrome and steel in them. They will be replacements for MIA / kidnapped / shanghighed craftsman sockets so I think I'm moving in the world

Pros
  • Socket head guide
Cons
  • Only available in black

Nearly perfect for socket sets

If I could give those 4.5 stars I would, but they're not exactly perfect. However, this is definitely the best I've ever had. I like the serrated base which makes turning nuts and bolts with your fingers much easier. The flat surfaces in the hub heads are only twice the thickness of most nuts and bolt heads, so there's no risk of losing a nut or bolt all the way to the bottom of the hub. The flats are also machined so that nuts and bolts are gripped on the flat sides rather than the corners…

Pros
  • Large stamped labels
Cons
  • Concise instructions
