Description of 🔧 GEARWRENCH 3 Pc. 84 Tooth Teardrop Ratchet Set - 81206F: 1/4", 3/8", & 1/2" Drive for Efficient and Versatile Fastening

72 tooth ratcheting box end needs a minimal 5° to move fasteners vs. 30° for standard wrenches. Flush mounted reversing lever allows you to change direction without removing the wrench. Off-corner loading design on box end provides better grip and reduces fastener rounding. 15° offset offers increased clearance. Thin head and beam provide greater access in confined work areas.

Great ratchets for wrenches

I used to only be a handyman in the US but that's almost impossible now. However, these ratchets are just as good, if not better. A hard feeling in my hands and I knocked you-know-what out of them. I've never had a problem with gear wrenches and this is no different.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Trade in available

Good quality but used

Wrenches seem amazing. 1/2 had scratches, possibly from the previous owner. If they break, I want it to be me and not anyone else. They also break without use. They also need 4 months to send you a new one. Unfortunately, this is just an inferior and expensive product, like the rest.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • No automatic

Would buy again - socket wrench

has not disappointed me yet I know diesel mechanics who use Snapon/Matco etc and they all praise the gear wrench. Advance Autoparts has these tools in the shop and can easily replace them (similar to how handyman or dock tools work) but they are of much better quality. The on/off switch is handy (different ratchets have different on positions and vice versa). pump/brakes/suspension [bushings] etc.)

Pros
  • stylish and modern design
Cons
  • vulgarity

If I had to start again, it would be brand

Man after 20 years of using USA Craftsman people swear how good they are for the money but they never fit sockets, loose contacts and so-so dimensional accuracy, I regret not found another brand sooner to have. I won't even get in the huge gap between each click on the sockets that the Craftsman stuff had. These Gearwrench products really are top notch. They even fit my old Craftsman sockets better than Craftsman wrenches. In addition, a large number of teeth is pure luxury. No more trying to…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • So far so good

The gear wrench isn't worth the price anymore

The gear wrench used to be a good product for the price but now it's overpriced. There, the price went up from the start, but the quality definitely went down. I own a property for maintenance and also build hot tubs on the weekends. Over the past 12 years I have accumulated a large number of good tools, I have long understood that buying quality tools pays off. I don't buy high end tools like rigs but definitely good quality, the serrated wrench just doesn't compete with other good brands but…

Pros
  • Handy item

My handyman can't hold them out of the blue.

I used Craftsman ratchets for as long as I could until I found these. For non-professional tools, this is a beautifully crafted ratchet set. The finish is very pleasant. Feels good in the hand, well balanced. The flat head is a big plus. It's not a quick release, but it's not a deal breaker. I use them with Craftsman sockets and they separate just fine. I have some old snap-on and mac tools that are in a class by themselves. They will definitely keep their position in the mid-range market. I…

Pros
  • Best in their niche
Cons
  • Disappear

Great tool for the price

I bought these tools when they were on sale for about $80. I needed something to replace my Mac ratchet that had worn out its teeth for the second time in eight months. It was exactly what I needed, I'm a mechanic and I use them daily, their design is very comfortable and durable. Although they are guaranteed, they are very easy to take apart if you ever need to replace the teeth. . I highly recommend them to both amateurs and professionals.

Pros
  • 15° offset gives more clearance
Cons
  • Slightly torn
