Black Jagwire 4mm Derailleur Housing with L3 Liner - 25' Roll Review

Much cheaper than the original brands SRAM and Shimano and never let me down. A fresh suitcase on my MTB every 9 months and life is great.

I connected this body to an XO1 derailleur and my bike has never shifted so smoothly. Shifting now requires half the pressure on the shift levers. We'll see in the long run, but so far I'm really impressed.

Excellent case. Very little resistance to the cable through the insert. acceptable price. Supplied with end caps. I replaced a full length derailleur housing on one bike and doubled it up on another bike with a Nuvinci hub (requires two shifter cables) and I still have enough left over for a full boot run.

Bought to finish building a recent road bike and very disappointed to have received a 30ft spool of 5mm brake housing instead of the product described for the final derailleur routing on the bike. Return immediately, note you may receive a brake housing and not the derailleur housing described, it is a different type of housing as other reviewers have explained. Very disappointing.

shifter cable replaced with this one. Cool, very neat and well finished inside. PAIN TO CUT. I used a Dremel tool with a cutting wheel and was having trouble melting the inner shell and sealing the ends. This is an easy fix, just cut off a little, pause to cool, then cut off some more. Small wire cutters are useless, maybe a hacksaw can handle it, but be prepared for a fight. It's worth it, the rebuilt Shimano RSX rear derailleurs work much better with this new cable. Enough to fix my friends…
