Good product! on stairs

These things are perfect! had to replace the gutters in my two story house and these racks made the job easier. I've spent quite a bit of time on the stairs in my 76 years and have never felt more stable on an extension ladder. They've taken the ladder down from the gutters, they're leaning on the roof, and so light you don't even realize they're there. Be sure to get silicon sheets if you plan to put them on the roof.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Easy to repair

Stability, light weight, durability

I've spent years pressing my Werner to the edge of the gutter so as not to damage the gutters. A roofer came up to me for a quote for a new roof and he had these Levelok braces on his Werner and we climbed over the gutters - I was sold. They make the ladder very strong, light weight, very easy to pick up and take down, and this particular seller sells these stronger (grey) elbows with silicon sleeves at a less durable (black) price with foam sleeves. Get some while they're hot.

Good, especially if you have a wide reveal

I can no longer lean the ladder against the gutters because I just installed new ones. I have skylights that I clear with a telescoping pole while standing on the stairs and because I have a very wide soffit I needed a stair stabilizer that could rest on the roof instead of the house. This model is designed to rest in both places, unlike some that don't recommend rooftop rest. I also liked the simple setup; Simply insert the stabilizer into the holes in the cross braces and you're done. Removal

Would be a great product if rubber was used in the tire tread.

Excellent bracket fits my 17ft Werner ladder perfectly. The hoop compression required to insert the eyelets into the rungs of the ladder provides sufficient friction to prevent the eyelets from falling out when the ladder is installed and manoeuvred. The only downside I noticed was the foam rubber padding which is too soft to use on shingles. I knew this before I bought it when I read a review from a previous customer who noticed the problem and claimed they fixed it by wrapping tape around the

Keeps ladder clear of gutters

This is exactly what I saw a roofing company use their ladder to get back up onto my new roof to install screens in the lower gutters of my new gutters. The new gutters are 6 inches and the old ones are 5 inches. As the roofers prepared to leave, I reminded them that they had promised to replace the grating over the gutters. They got a ladder with these protruding brackets - probably the same brand. I noticed that the ladder didn't touch the new gutters. I used to lean my ladder (without…

Easy to install, works great!

I've wanted to replace some of the fascia boards and trim on the outside of my house for a long time. Some of this is essentially an internal crown molding that was placed outside of the house for some reason, but the new roof was built with that in mind, so I have to deal with wood rot all the time. It got to the point where I needed a ladder mount to protect the roof and so I really couldn't work that high overhead. I bought them partly because of the price and partly because the ease of…

Stabilizer of a large multipurpose staircase

I bought these stabilizers for my aluminum staircase to install gutter protection in my house. The back of the house is very high and it's scary to stand on the stairs. I'm talking about 14-15 feet in the air. At this height you don't want the ladder to slide and fall over at the top. These arms are easy to attach, lightweight and very functional. If you use it to lift the ladder onto the ladder and put it on the roof, you will be very safe at the top of the ladder. No pressure on the gutter…

As far as I know, this is the best choice for stair shelves!

I am so impressed with these stands! I had to put several protective fences on all drains. I knew I needed some kind of confrontation. I started by buying a traditional U stand with a quick release mount. While this worked while standing by my house and over my windows I still couldn't get to some of the corner gutters and the bracing made the ladder very heavy when I pulled it out. I nearly lost control of moving the ladder several times. I knew I needed another option. Then I saw this, I…

Buy another version

Update: Dear customer, we are sorry that the product does not work for you. Levelok open rungs are designed to fit inside the rungs of a ladder and are held in place by the correct tension at both ends. Moving and using the ladder around the construction site can sometimes cause the legs to vibrate outward as they are not attached to the ladder. There is a thick black marker line at the end of the bar that indicates the minimum penetration (5 inches) for safe use of the bars. The thick black…
