I bought these APs to compare with unifi ac lr APs to see which one is better in range and speed . First off, installing the ac1200 was a pain. There's no cloud controller so you can turn on the app and find it on the controller and then manage from there. I would not recommend this hotspot. It has some limitations and very annoying bug on IOS devices. A sporadic bug with IOS devices is that when an IOS device roams from one AP to another AP with the same SSID (i.e. switches between APs), it sometimes fails to connect to the new AP. Sometimes it simply disconnects the Wi-Fi connection (so your iPhone in your pocket is no longer on the Wi-Fi network). Sometimes when you unlock your iPhone, it reconnects to the nearest hotspot, and sometimes you…
