They work when connected. Unlike the others, they don't need a trigger to run.

I plugged these into my Alexa controlled water valves that I use to mist my orchids. Four lithium 18650s and wemos together with an 18v solar panel. Works perfectly.

NO DOCUMENTATION in power converters

I bought 2 of these and there was no documentation. In my experience, this is a common theme. It's frustrating for someone who doesn't have the energy, doesn't have the time, or doesn't like to research. I have yet to plug them in but will do a little research before plugging them in as I don't want to damage my batteries. There was also NO wiring harness included, which again seems to be a common theme. Be sure to check everything!

Great price and they work

I bought about five of these and only one broke. The support team is really helping me. They all work great and I'm currently parallelizing them. They balance my batteries between 5 and 10 millivolts. I have solar panels that charge batteries with a charge controller. And also with the help of a grid-connected inverter to feed electricity back into the house. I also have a pure sine wave inverter and these battery management systems work great.
