I originally purchased these balls for floating water lights, as that is what popped up when I searched for pool lights. Not much in the directions online about "not" really for being in water. When you do finally get the lights, the instructions say to not leave in the water for more than 4 hours hmmmm.Screws are visible for changing the batteries, so I assume if left in the water they will rust. I am not using them for the pool; however, they do float. I will hang them up outside on the deck.

I love the product but loftek’s customer service stinks. This is a replacement for the 12” ball I ordered in December. Tried calling loftek many, many times and sent many emails inquiring about their 1 year warranty. Heard nothing. Ever. Had to reorder anyway because I needed it for a celebration decoration. Very disappointed in failure to get replacement via warranty. Will not buy their products again.

Love this light. Purchased for my witch display at Halloween for her to hold as an orb. Beautiful colors with so many options! Almost too many! Battery life is acceptable and it doesn’t take too long to recharge. I like it so much I worked it into my fall and Christmas decor! Would work great as a calming night light too. It has worked as a back up night light for my 3 year old autistic son when we loose power. He can’t sleep without a calming light. Very versatile!

This thing is epic. The colors are vivid and the fine details of the orb when you look at it up close are spectacular. Carried this 12” one around all day at a rave and everyone came up wanting to know what it was and what it was made of. Battery life is awesome- survived sub-40 degree temperatures at night just fine. Some friends and I watched the colors melt into one another for almost an hour on end and never got bored of it. Worked great while it was working. I've owned this product for a little over a year and have used it less than a dozen times but it has already stopped working.

Expected it to be soft, but it was plastic, my fault for not reading though! Has lasted me a long time, good reading light. Good night light. Remote is good, simple controls.

I love this light. It stays on my baby's changing table so I can see better for night changes without waking up my husband. Its great for getting him to sleep . I just change the color white and bright while getting ready for bed , blue for bottle time, and dim down for bedtime. The remote stays by my bedside table. Everyone loves these lights. They are prefect for adding accents in my Studio. Not suitable for video production but they are cool. The kids wanted them as soon as they saw them.

Leaving a lithium battery on the charger constantly can be dangerous and start a fire. if you just want it corded, it is possible. It will reduce the waterproofing because you're breaking the factory seal. but it will still be somewhat sealed by a rubber gasket. You probably shouldn't put in water after this modification. Can't not say enough. My husband and I redid pur landscaping and we used these LED balls in our yard. We bought a lot of them. We get so many compliments with this balls being in our yard. They definitely stand out and make a statement. My mother even came over and asked me to purchase her some for her yard.

This is a really cool product. I got one for my adult brothers for Christmas. They both commented how cool it was so I got one for myself. I love how you can plug it in for power but then take it and set it anywhere with no wires exposed. After I had a few weeks I decided to get three more for my boyfriend’s sons, aged 10 and 8, as they were wanting a night light of sort - and they went wild for them! It’s a great little product and worth the $.

These are really nifty for decorations! There are a lot of choices in light effects--I especially like the slow fade from one color to the next. They seem well made. I wish they would make them in smaller sizes, so that I could use them in other applications!

We have three of these and absolutely love them! They’re very bright and work wonderfully as nightlights for the kids. If I had to come up with something negative to say, I’d say I wish there were more color options to choose from, but honestly I have no complaints!

I bought this light ball for my son for his college dorm room. He loves it and so do all his friends. He says it’s light weight, colorful and easy to set up. The remote control is very user friendly. He has paired it with LED lights which he installed on his ceiling. Now all his friends are buying the set up for their dorm rooms. Shipping was quick to campus and communication with the seller has been stellar.

The light was beautiful soft colors but bright enough to make a good impact, especially in a dark room. Easy to charge and remote works well to change colors and functions.

I purchased the 6 inch thinking my daughter would sit it on her dresser at night. She loves it and sleeps with it in her bed every night. If I'd known she would want it in bed with her a smaller size would have been better! Theonly negative I can see is that when it's in color change mode you can not adjust the brightness. It's quite bright, especially to have in bed with you.

I love these lights. Bought two of them for my patio. Unfortunately, one of them stopped responding to the remote control on the second day, so there is no way to dim that light. This makes the pair quite a bit less useable for my needs, so I marked my rating down. If both lights responded to the remotes, I would have gladly given these lights a 5 star rating. Great lights! Maybe I just got a bad one.
