Master Lock 22D Laminated Warded Padlock, 1.5-Inch Wide Body, 0.625-Inch Shackle Height, Silver Review

I use this padlock to lock an outdoor storage area and it works well. I have the same one in another camp outside and it has held up well to bad weather for years. I would buy it again if I needed a different lock.

I have bought two of these locks so far and am generally happy with them. The keys are not standard as shown in the picture. I gave 4 stars because the key (both locks) goes in and out quite sluggishly (not smooth) but still works well. This is again a good buy for the money.

This lock is of good quality. It's sturdy and sturdy and appears to be all solid steel. The only thing to watch out for is that this size is quite small. I used it to close the gate and it fits just right. It fits tighter than a normal combination lock because the ring is thick enough. All of this is good, just be aware of the scale of the image in the listing.

the main part of the lock looks very conspicuous as metal parts put together and fastened with 4 screws; I see tiny gaps between each metal layer. Most metal plates themselves have some kind of weak spot, similar to incipient rust. The entire lock arrived unpolished and lightly used. The lock itself works great so far. There is a loose part in the main body of the lock. When shaken lightly, the loose part makes a noticeable noise. So far, this lock is worth its $2 asking price.

The only reason I bought this lock is because it has a 1/4 inch shackle which is small enough to fit through the bolt end of my fit bike mount. , reinsert the locking clip and secure it securely to the tow bar. Better than nothing but cheaply made in China. I'll look around for a better quality replacement. At least it looks like the more durable members of the Master Lock family. Update: I took a closer look at the lock and noticed that both ends of the shackle are held by locking bars (I only
