It's worth it! - Linen

I am a very anxious person and have very restless legs. I tried another weighted blanket but the material was not very good and unfortunately too heavy. I weigh 180 pounds and have a 20 pound duvet. So this time I decided to try this weighted blanket and ordered £15 instead and it made a huge difference. It's very relaxing, the quality and the duvet are very good. I definitely recommend buying it.

  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Weak dialing

Weight and temperature comfort

I bought two of these and we love them. You regulate the temperature by turning one side or the other. One for warmer sleep and the other for cooler sleep. They really affect sleep quality. My biggest complaint is that things change inside after one night. I have to shake it back in the morning when I make the bed. It's not a big shift, but it's moving. This makes it look fuller on one side of the bed than the other. We have a queen bed and it lies perfectly on it without sagging. It really…

20 pounds is hard, maybe take 10?

I love this duvet but I no longer have any cover on it. I use a weighted comforter alone because the comforter gets snagged in the comforter and doesn't lie flat. Remember this is a very heavy weight at 20 pounds. I wish I had gone for something lighter? When it ends at my feet, it's very difficult to pull it out again. Just wanted you to know! Basically I think it's ok. I wish I had looked for something more upscale. My problem is the duvet, I tied it to the duvet but it always slips out…

Who would have thought twenty-five pounds weighed twenty-five pounds!

I knew it was going to be hard. I didn't get to use it often because it was TERRIBLE HOT, but a few times I slept I slept better than Rip Van Winkle and Sleeping Beauty in a sleep contest. I literally woke up wondering where the hell I was, it felt so good. While it was the "right" weight for my height, I probably should have gone with a 15lb blanket. Twenty-five pounds must be heavy. It's okay if I'm lying still, but if I turn or roll over, it's practice not to throw anything away. (I mean a…

Adjustable weight would be nice.

Always slept in socks with an extra blanket on the lower leg. I found the long-awaited blanket useful. But I found it was too hard and didn't let me sleep well. It's really just a personal reaction to a weighted blanket, it may be good for some people and not so good for others. I think the perfect gift would be a quilt where you can adjust the weight, maybe adding 5lb layers in a stacked quilt so you can adjust the weight from say 5lbs to 20lbs, but I think technically seen this can be…

Impresses in blankets and throws

I've heard and read a lot about these weighted blankets. I just had to try it myself. Well, now I am convinced that this is a worthy product. A bit expensive, but I took a chance and it worked out well. I slept exceptionally well the first week I used it. I doubt it was a placebo effect because the first night I just tossed and turned. I usually do this for quite a while before calming down and falling asleep. immediately, it made me fall asleep easier. There may be some truth to the "wrap…

Worst buy in a long time

Get a weighted blanket they said. The best sleep of your life, they said. You know those lead shields they put on you when you're being x-rayed at the dentist? That's exactly how I felt with this blanket. It didn't feel like a secure hug, it was suffocating. I sleep very well and I can't turn off the air in my house too much at night because my elderly mother-in-law lives with us and is very outgoing. to the cold, so I was drawn to the certainty that this blanket has a warm side and a cool…

I haven't slept this well in years

My sleep was terrible. I would either wake up in the middle of the night and stay awake for several hours before falling asleep again, or I would sleep until 3:30-4am and not fall asleep again. On one of those nights, I turned on the TV. There was a commercial for weighted blankets; He said it helps you sleep. Later that day I studied them and then asked if friends and family used them; They thought the blankets would help. I decided to buy it based on the positive feedback I received. I…
