No bag, no desiccant, large spool. Good price.

Just arrived in a full size spool, half full and with no moisture support. No bag, no desiccant. Just a thread on a spool, not even a very good winding. Not printed yet. If I don't have to bake I'll update my review.

Pros
  • Model number: 3DNF07117505
Cons
  • Doubtful

Slack isn't how everyone should get a roll of expensive thread.

For the money being spent on TPU I don't expect 0.5kg of filament to come out of the as a spaghetti disaster packaging come. Half of the spool was loose, miswound, or simply wound without enough tension to keep the thread in line. how does it print I do not know yet. I untangled several knots on the spool. I'd rather try to unravel 4 adult wrestlers in a mud-filled pigsty with a pay-per-view extravaganza than deal with a nightmarish thread knot festival fueled by this role. As a side note, theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Really flexible (no need for infill or layer manipulation to get performance)
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen

Prints well on my standard Ender 3.

I tried this as my first experience with flexible filament and with a few tweaks it printed well. Print speed 20mm/s, temperature 240, no heated bed but using a substrate (I'll experiment with switching later). I played around with the retraction settings (retraction from 40mm/s to 8mm) but otherwise used the default Cura 4.7 "Generic TPUโ€ settings. For the most part, these are the settings specified by the manufacturer on their website, although they say nothing about break-in. It's slightlyโ€ฆ

  • Not bad but...
