Description of PEMENOL DC-DC CNC USB Step Up/Down Power Supply Regulator Module: Adjustable Boost Buck Voltage Converter with Digital Display Voltmeter Ammeter and Battery Capacity Tester

★Power System (PER):There are 3 input interfaces, USB, micro USB, Type-C, input any interface, under the power system (PER), you can output an adjustable voltage from 1.0V to 24V, power 2-3W. Note: It is a low power supply, please do not exceed the maximum output power. ★Multimeter System (VAH): The CNC USB power supply regulator module can measure voltage and current, test power, capacity, and time just like a multimeter. It can also test the current ambient temperature. Temperature range -20°C~70°C. ★With multiple protection functions: When the voltage<0.8V, there will be under-voltage protection(LVP); when the input current>2A, there will be overcurrent protection(OCP); When using over power, there will be over-power protection(OPP). After protection, the output will be automatically turned off, the LCD backlight will flash, and the corresponding protection will be displayed(LVP, OCP, OPP). ★Small size, easy to carry:small size 78*28*17mm with Anti-extrusion packaging box. Very suitable for use by technical engineers on business trips, maintenance, etc. ★Application: It can measure voltage and current like a multimeter. Can also test power, capacity, time and temperature. For more details and instruction, please read the user manual!!!.

Exact output voltage!

As some reviewers have noted, yes there is a lag when changing V output in PER mode. Be aware of this and it's not really a problem. I noticed that some small decimal places are missing (I couldn't get exactly 1.23V), but if you need that high accuracy, just use a precision lab power supply. The test you see in the video is an unloaded voltage. Applications can include direct LED powering or breadboard or even Arduino powering. If you are having trouble getting a link to a manual, you may need…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Hard to say

Excellent Small USB Power Adapter

At first I thought it was a dual voltage USB power adapter. I thought this would be ideal as a +/- power supply for op amps. This confusion was due to the picture. Unfortunately it's only voltage, but I was able to use it on a USB power supply and apply a "negative" voltage. So in the end he does what I want him to do. I also found out later that it also measures volts/amps if you need to monitor project load or battery performance. Pretty handy and a lot easier than the two voltmeter approach.

Pros
  • ★ Multimeter System (VAH): The USB CNC power regulator module can measure voltage and current, check power, capacity and time just like a multimeter. It can also check the current ambient temperature. Temperature range -20℃~70℃
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Tension changes slowly

The finish is decent, it works, the tensions are right. OCP works, tested by shorting the wires, and OPP works under heavy load. The only problem I found is the tedious voltage change, pressing the buttons gives you a 0-0.03 volt change, holding the buttons gives you a ramp but it takes about 24 seconds to go from 1 going from V to 24V and the display often lags needing to go the other way to get to where you really want to be there is no way to change the voltage without turning on the output…

Pros
  • ★ Small size, easy to carry: small size 78*28*17mm with anti-squeeze packaging. Very handy for use by technical engineers on business trips, maintenance work, etc.
Cons
  • Weight

It's a power supply AND a multimeter, it's a great addition to my toolbox!

I bought this to have an easy and portable way to check voltage on the go. I like that it works both as an ammeter and as a power supply. It's very easy to use. It has multiple functions: 1) it's a pull-down/boost power supply, 2) it's a voltmeter, 3) it's an ammeter, 4) it's a USB-powered thermometer. It is well made and compact. The buttons aren't impressive, but they are functional and work well enough. It feels comfortable and is reliable. It was a bit difficult to use at first, but once…

Pros
  • ★Application: Can measure voltage and current like a multimeter. You can also check the power, capacity, time and temperature. For more details and instructions, please read the user manual!!!
Cons
  • Update Availability

Easy-to-use power supply accessories

In PER mode, the actual output voltage changes faster than displayed. The display is a bit slow to catch up. Absolutely no problem. I was able to get up to 24.5V over USB, but didn't connect a load. I was concerned about the USB port in my computer. The output voltage is pretty close to the voltage reading on my old school multimeter. I believe the measurements were within their margin of error. The VAH mode offers a very simple voltage/power/current meter. The instruction manual included in…

  • ★ Power supply system (PER): There are 3 input interfaces, USB, Micro USB, Type-C, input for any interface, under the power supply system (PER), you can output adjustable voltage from 1.0V up to 24V, power 2-3W. Note. This is a low power source, please do not exceed the maximum output power.
