Not suitable for my purpose

I used this to seal watercolor paper before painting. So I wasn't amused when it stuck to the paper in places and ripped off part of the top of the edge where it should have fitted smoothly. (Having only spent a few hours on site.) I think I'll return to the Frog band, which seems more appropriate for this purpose.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Nothing

This ribbon is really good -- Everyone uses this ribbon for different purposes, but it's especially useful to me in my art. I use it to seal the edges of my images to leave a clean edge. It never tears paper and always comes out clean. I love it and will definitely buy more.

3M - COMPLETE Trash

This tape comes off the roll, will not stick and will not leak. DO NOT SPEND YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON 3M PRODUCTS, you try to unfold it from the edges as well as in the middle. I can't believe I went to the trouble and the extra expense. made painting so difficult and spoiled the result. don't prepare for failure. Use Dollar Tree brand

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Expandable

The most durable and easy to remove tape

3M make very high quality products. Your masking tape is both sticky and covers what's underneath, just like good masking tape, but it also peels off without leaving a sticky residue. The texture is very "papery" for easy tearing, but the tape doesn't unexpectedly come off the roll without conscious effort. The packaging quality is impeccable. Revane's execution was timely and efficient.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • It's OK

This masking tape has a durable adhesive that can be removed even after a very long time. However, the adhesive strength of this masking tape is only slightly weaker than that of other, cheaper masking tapes. Therefore, only use this expensive masking tape for unusual purposes (e.g. to permanently store folders or document boxes, or to cover the ends of USB cables, Ethernet cables or electrical plugs to keep dust out). .

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Negative gift

Masking Tape: Paint, Wall Care Products & Accessories

Works well and ready same day. It is not recommended to wait more than one day (24 hours). This tape is easy to use when fresh. If you have a roll that you've left in the garage for a year to warm up and cool down, you're going to hate it. The tape tears a little at a time, so don't buy it extra to store and use later. That's why I'm buying this new reel. This is not masking tape. works great for what it is. Also good for marking storage areas or taping plastic to the floor when painting, and…

Perfect for pasting PDF patterns!

I print patterns in PDF format on regular A4 paper at home and have to glue them together. While any ribbon will do, the problem arises when I fold my patterns to store them in Manila envelopes. If I want to use the pattern again, it won't lay flat because of the many creases, so I have to iron it. Regular tape melts under the iron, so I had to avoid sticky spots when ironing. Not easy because I glue a lot! So I looked for a tape that could withstand the iron and I wasn't sure if it would work.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • So far, so good

Nice alternative to the art book!

I actually use this to mask areas in a painting. I was very concerned about what type of masking tape to use because I didn't want it to be strong enough to remove the paint or weak enough to drip off. I also had concerns about leaving marks on the canvas. I will say that this tape worked well for my purpose. I had a hard time sticking it to the canvas (probably due to its texture) but it didn't run at all and didn't leave any noticeable marks. Note: I didn't leave the masking tape on the…
