    Unsuccessful purchase, I am disappointed.

32mb cache and 7200 rpm lured me in.))))) I installed it in the Xbox 360 and noticed delays in games, such as minor jerks and twitches when actively driving in GTA 4 and NFS Rivals. Previously, it was a hard drive from Toshiba with a 5400 processor and about 16MB of cache, and this was not. In general, it is clearly unsuitable for gaming, hence WD Black was required. I will no longer use the Seagate.

    Pros
    • a small stature and respectable attributes A HDTunePro test 144.1 Mb/s is the maximum read speed. 115.7 Mb/s is the average reading speed. 71.7 Mb/s is the minimum read speed. Access Time: 16.1 ms
    Cons
    • Yet, the Victoria reading test revealed 433 green sectors with 200 ms access.

The right product for me, there were no problems.

I purchased it for use on my Sony PlayStation 3 in order to play Grand Theft Auto V. Though the hard drive's physical dimensions (form factor) are less than the size of the niche inside SP 3, it works wonderfully for these applications. I fixed the hard drive inside the SP 3 with two little pieces of foam rubber (?) that are typically used in shoe boxes, though it is recommended that you purchase extra planks separately so as to avoid damaging the connectors. Taking the curling iron apart and…

    Cons
    • Just couldn't track it down.

I will never make this purchase again.

Even though I didn't inquire as to how to apply for a guarantee, I was very away informed that they had advised me when I made a purchase. And to tell the truth, format it after enduring much suffering while attempting to reinstall Windows. I made the decision to scroll through Victoria to try and determine the cause. It ended up having a few dozen damaged sectors in the first few hundred. not even bothered to browse to the conclusion. It suddenly became apparent. I'm going to return or…

The quality does not meet expectations, I will not buy any more.

It was bought for a colleague to replace the built-in Toshiba laptop (he lived for about 4-5 years), after he began to die. Maybe from numerous transportations / business trips, or maybe from the quality of production, but literally a year later it also fell down, although it still starts, lives and you can even rewrite everything that has already been done from it. Within a month, 9 thousand bad sectors formed on it and it became hellish to slow down. I used to buy only Seagate, now I will try

    Pros
    • It worked fine for a while
    Cons
    • It fell apart in less than a year.

    Great for identity thieves!

I bought one of these drives, it arrived fully sealed and packaged as if it were a new product, opened and plugged in, it was filled with the wife's personal information, finances, medical records, personal photos, etc. .d. I notified the seller and he sent a replacement. Guess what, data and files are still on the new hard drive. I told the seller but they saw no problem with the practice. I'm giving 5 stars because when I give 1 star to a review reporting this practice, the review seems to…

Perfect for repairing my friend's Lenovo ThinkPad T430 laptop

My friend has some old ThinkPads that he gives to his young kids for 'distance learning'. school activities during new coronavirus quarantine. His young son dropped one on the concrete floor, which broke the original Seagate 320GB 7200rpm hard drive. I couldn't get the machine to recognize the 2.5" SSD - that would require a firmware update which wouldn't be possible without a running OS. So I settled on a spinning disk. This 500GB drive was recognized immediately and I installed a copy of…

Just what I needed for internal hard drives

I have an old Asus Republic of Gamers laptop from 2013. I used it to replace a recently damaged 5400rpm hard drive that had it the perfect size and fit perfectly. After that my computer worked amazingly compared to how old, slow and damaged the old one was. Remember that if you replace the hard drive, your operating system will only exist on the old one unless you have a DVD to install your operating system. Before you take out your old hard drive, get your Windows key or ID. Also, I called…

Self replacement for Apple MacBook Pro Mid 2012!

Supplied in a box with bubble wrap. I wish it was more secure in the box so it doesn't bounce or move. The hard drive didn't look new as some lettering on the hard drive itself was slightly smudged. I installed it myself and everything works fine. Will update if anything changes as I'm not sure how many hours this drive has. At first I wasn't sure if this would work on my mid 2012 Apple MacBook Pro and none of the answers I got from others were helpful. But it fits and works well. The noise…

    NO WARRANTY SEAGATE OEM drive

I wish I had read more reviews and realized that I DO NOT BUY A NEW DRIVE as you can believe the list . These are OEM drives and are NOT guaranteed by Seagate. This CD I received is 14 months old. Do yourself a favor and BUY ELSEWHERE and pay a few bucks more for a TRULY NEW hard drive. I really hate that the word NEW has a different meaning on the internet.

    Pros
    • Compatible with SATA 6Gb/s and 3Gb/s designs
    Cons
    • Socket required

Works perfectly! for computers and accessories

Perfect for my laptop. I was able to make an exact copy of my old HD to this new HD using an online guide by booting from a USB drive and using software to make an exact copy of my old HD to this one. It was a little technical but I didn't have to reinstall anything and even now I'm using the new HD and on my laptop and all my files everything is the same. If you get a new HD consider making an exact copy of your old one on this new one as it will save you hours if not days without having to…

    • Almost everything is fine

Less pleased about obviously not new hard drives. I received hard drives that were previously installed and removed from new (supposed) computers. I buy a lot of these and they are not factory boxed and have the same aluminum foil as the cover that Dell puts on their laptops when they install new laptops. I wanted new hard drives with the latest firmware, not pulled out (used) hard drives. Also note the number or date of manufacture. These are 2 discs from the same show, one released in 2015…
