I had high hopes for the claimed absorption of wow imitation. I bought to dry the car after washing to avoid water stains. They soaked up some of the water, but left streaks, micro-water stains, and shed fibers like a long-haired dog. Overall pretty disappointed with the performance

However, this new version has an unpleasant odor even after washing. I hope this will resolve itself over time, but I'm not sure. If I had to do it again I would buy a cheaper original; it still works and it's the best value for money.

This is great. My boyfriend got me the original shampoo for Christmas and I got him this new and improved shampoo. The first thing we did, of course, was an absorption test. The new improved shampoo absorbs twice as much liquid as the original shampoo. This one sucked up 2 cups of water while the original Shamwow sucked up 1 cup of water.
