Works on my 1996 Ford Ranger XLT

Direct replacement for the turn signal on my Ford Ranger XLT. The original turn signal was 6 pin but this 5 pin model will work. I think the 6th pin was not needed. The turn signals and emergency lights were restored for half the cost the auto parts store wanted. Great offer.

Pros
  • Product packaging width 3.78"
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Fixed Intermittent Turn Signals - 2000 Ford Ranger XLT V6 3.0

My turn signals only flashed a few times and then went out. And then maybe they would tune in again. Replacing the flashing amber OEM relay with this solved the problem. A Ford OEM relay can have 6 pins - the 6th pin is the smallest and is not actually used, so these 5 pin relays will work fine. The Ford OEM relay is often yellow, like mine, or blue. Good solution.

Pros
  • Product packaging length is 5.3 inches
Cons
  • Safety

Works perfectly! Fits parts

Great for 1998 Ford Ranger. The factory flasher module has a 6 pin connector while the replacement module has a 5 pin connector - this doesn't seem to affect performance. Reach under the dashboard above and to the right of the hood latch. Slide the turn signal off the metal tab and pull down. There is enough tether in the wiring harness to pull the connector out from under the dash. Take a wide flathead screwdriver and pry up on the latch, then unplug the connector as needed. Install a new one…
