    The cable works great, the software is an adventure.

    The cable itself is well made and there are no problems connecting it to the laptop. The fun comes with Techstream software. You MUST disable your antivirus software as instructed. I closed Bitdefender and Malwarebytes, but when extracting the RAR file, Google Chrome wouldn't let me load the cable driver. Arrrgg! I had to extract the file using Microsoft Edge to download the required driver. It's not the software, but my Chrome browser was trying to protect my system. I bought it for a Tundra…

    Just keep trying - Diagnostic, Test & Measurement Tools

    This cable and software really works. I downloaded it on an old Win 7/32 laptop and it took a while to set up both the cable driver and the Techstream V16xxx software but eventually it all came together and opened up in my 04 Camry. Code scan/engine info while running + ABS info is very cool but my 16.xxx version doesn't automatically clear ABS. I still think it's worth installing.     not usable due to virus warning

    Everything works - code readers and scan tools

    I could not disable all security features and the driver was uninstalled once, but only after I completed all installation steps (Win 7 64bit). I disabled all security features and reinstalled the driver. After installation, two icons appeared, Techstream and Techstream Patch 64bit. The first one always asks for a registration key and won't do anything without it. The second starts, connects to the vehicle, displays status, etc., but it has a main menu selection at the bottom of the screen that
