LG BD530 1080p Network Blu-ray Disc Player: A Revolutionary 2010 Model for Ultimate Home Entertainment Review

Not sure what the negative reviews are about, maybe some buyers got a defective product from LG but mine works great! First, let me say that I will not complain that the player does not have Netflix, Rhapsody, Facebook, etc. My TV has built-in Wi-Fi that allows me to access Netflix, so I don't need to shell out extra money for a fancy player that could browse all the websites. Edit: 02/02/2012 This has become a real stinker. It plays Blu-ray well, but doesn't seem to play about half of the DVDs we've put in it. I tried cleaning the device and couldn't see any improvement. This is the second LG BD530 Blu-ray player that I have bought. The first came from WM as a "One Day" special for $65. I figured I couldn't go wrong at this price so I bought it. Especially since its intended use should be up in my bonus room where this TV is used only occasionally. After bringing it home and connecting it to my TV via HDMI and to my home theater system via coaxial audio, I was very happy with the unit.
