Made cheaply so you can buy another one soon!

I bought this modem 2 years ago because I was tired of replacing Cox modems once a year and paying rent to do it. So I did a little research and found that this modem was one of the best modems around $120. In the first year he did everything that was advertised, which was great for me. Although this year was terrible. My wife has been complaining to me about horrible internet speeds all year while I was not on duty. I went back and checked it out today to find out the modem isn't working and I

Durable, fast! Perfect for streaming content!

High quality, does exactly what it promises. Quick and easy installation. It's super quick, easy and brings joy to the whole house! Ideal for streaming content and easily supports ISP plans up to 300Mbps. We paired it with the new Tenda Wi-Fi router, which offers dual-band, an excellent interface (1 gigabit and USB ports for sharing flash memory files), high wireless data transfer speed (300 Mbit / s + 867 Mbit / s) and a second frequency has high. It all adds up to a recipe for uninterrupted…

Pros
  • DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem with 1 Gigabit Ethernet port. DOCSIS 3.0 delivers 8x faster download speeds than DOCSIS 2.0
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Great modem but very hot

This modem was purchased on Black Friday. Before I start, my short list of credentials is: I work from home (so that's very useful) and in IT security. That being said, I was fed up with Comcast limiting my speeds at certain times of the day and night, so I bought this modem to try and bypass them all together. I pay 105 and definitely didn't get it. Now my modem and router are on the 3rd floor and I work on the second floor. I know the router is a major source of speed issues, but a 24-hour…

Pros
  • Compatible with Comcast Xfinity, Time Warner Cable, Charter, Cox, Cablevision and more. Wired internet required
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Out of service after 7 months

I bought this modem to replace a 6 year old Arris Surfboard modem. I wanted to upgrade to this one as it supports 24x8 channels while my old modem was 4x4. Setup was easy. It achieved the expected speed in both download and upload. After a few months, I noticed that our internet sometimes went down. It was annoying, but I turned off/on the modem, left it off for 10 seconds, then turned it back on. This will fix it. This will probably happen once a week. Until yesterday morning I woke up and my…
